Cross Country Cross Country Cross Country

Cross Country is one of the youngest programs at Westover.

Despite its youth it is has seen great success. Since its inception in the fall of 2003, the team has captured twelve Connecticut Independent School Athletic Conference league championships as well as a Division IV New England Championship in its first year. In the 2010, 2011, and 2017 seasons, the team earned second place finishes in the Division III New England Championship. Alumnae have gone on to compete at the college level in Cross Country.

During the 2004 preseason, the team created its own 5-kilometer course that tumbles through the hills and woods of the Westover campus. Though the course has changed multiple times since then, it remains a beautiful and challenging place to host home meets. The 2012 Div. III New England Championship race was held on Westover's current course.

The team prides itself on its work ethic and dedication and is looking forward to another successful season.
