Poet Debora Kuan to Visit Westover School for Reading

 

The poet Debora Kuan will give a poetry reading on Friday, February 16, beginning at 7:00 pm in Westover School’s Adams Library. Admission to the poetry reading is free and open to the public.

Kuan is the author of three poetry collections, Women on the Moon (2023, The Word Works), Lunch Portraits (2016, Brooklyn Arts Press), and XING (2011, Saturnalia), and her work has appeared in numerous publications including Poetry, The New Republic, Time, Artforum, Art in America, and Modern Painters among others. Her work has been recognized with a U.S. Fulbright Taiwan creative writing fellowship, Bread Loaf Writers' Conference work-study scholarship, multiple Pushcart Prize nominations, and numerous other prizes and residencies across the country. Additionally, she is the poet laureate of Wallingford, Connecticut, where she lives with her family.
