Join us for Family & Friends Weekend! Explore campus, get to know our community, and experience your student’s life at Westover. Whether you will be visiting campus or joining via our virtual meeting options, we look forward to seeing you.
Families can view student schedules by visiting the HUB so that they may make appointments to meet with their student’s teachers, advisors, and others. These conferences will be set up using a platform called Pick-A-Time. Please see below for detailed instructions for this process.
Families who are not able to come to campus are invited to schedule a virtual conference on Saturday between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. ET. Mandarin translation services will be available. Please see below to schedule.

- If you only have one student enrolled at Westover skip to step 4.
- If you have multiple students enrolled at Westover, click the top left tab labeled “Children”, then select your student’s name from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the “Courses” section to view the Fall semester classes your student is enrolled in. Teacher information is located on the right side of the page.
- Continue scrolling down the page to view advisory, afternoon activities, and athletics information to find the name of the person you would like to meet.
To schedule conferences with classroom teachers please click here (Conferences are 10 minutes in length and can be virtual or in-person).
Family members in need of a Mandarin translator should sign up for conferences on Saturday between 9:00AM and 11:00AM. Translation services will require more time, thus, those families are encouraged to request back-to-back conferences with the same teacher.
Pick-A-Time scheduling will close on Wednesday, October 23.
- Choose “Virtual” or “In-person” and select from the two provided dates on the blue calendar image (October 25, 26).
- Check the box next to the faculty member to see their schedule.
- Click on the colored box in the table to book your preferred time slot.
- Fill out the fields on the booking page.
- Optional: Check the box next to “Add this appointment to my calendar.”
- Should you have any challenges with online bookings please reach out to the teacher directly to make an appointment
Where should I park?
Follow the signs! Parking will be available on campus, on South Street (Westover side of the street only, please), and in additional lots marked with Westover signage. Accessibility parking is available. Please see one of our parking attendants upon arrival for instructions.
What if I am not able to meet with all of the people I would like over the Weekend?
Please contact your student’s advisor to schedule meetings outside of the Family & Friends Weekend schedule.
How can I find my way around campus?
Campus maps and helpful signage will be available throughout the weekend. If you can’t find your next location, please ask! Any student, faculty, or staff member would be happy to point you in the right direction.
Where can I stay?
The closest accommodations are at the Wyndham Hotel in Southbury. Reservations can be made online or by calling (203) 653-8179.
When can I take my student off-campus?
All day and boarding students are required to stay on campus until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Students wishing to leave before the required 4:00 p.m. time must submit a leave request through REACH well in advance.
Will I be able to make a donation to Westover during the Weekend?
Absolutely! You may make a donation at registration or by using the GIVE NOW link any time. If you would like to set up a meeting with the development office, please contact Mary Risner at 203-577-4646 or [email protected]. Every gift matters to Westover.
