Where is your classroom/office? Main building, 1st floor, across from North Office.
Do you live on campus? Yes!
Best Westover meal? I love a good salad bar!
Favorite Westover tradition? Orchard - I love being there to celebrate the accomplishments of our students.
What is your favorite thing about working at Westover? My favorite thing about working at Westover is watching our students grow and discover themselves and their passions over time. It’s inspiring to see them take on new challenges, support each other, and develop into confident, thoughtful individuals ready to take on the world.
What is the highlight of your year so far? The highlight of my year so far has been connecting with our newest students and families on campus. Seeing students find their place at Westover and watching them thrive in their first weeks on campus has been so rewarding.
What aspects of the school community or its mission continue to inspire you in your work? Every day, I am continuously inspired by Westover’s commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive community where each student feels valued and encouraged to explore their potential. It honestly makes my job easy - I love sharing stories of how our students thrive, build confidence, and develop meaningful connections.
What is a book you would recommend to the Westover community? Dr. Paul Kalanithi’s When Breath Becomes Air is such a powerful and moving memoir by a neurosurgeon confronting terminal cancer, delving into profound questions about life, purpose, and the essence of truly living. Every reader would benefit from reading Dr. Kalanithi’s story as it forces you to really consider your legacy and the impact you wish to leave on the world.
What is the first question you wish people would ask to get to know you? Rather than a specific question, I wish I had more chances to share my theatre background. I discovered my love for theatre in high school and decided to study playwriting in college. I've been writing plays for the past 12 years, with my work performed in the U.S., at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and in Kolkata, India. I also completed a yearlong post-graduate fellowship abroad that explored the power of provocative theatre. So, if performing arts are your thing, let’s chat!
