Competitive Athletics Across Three Seasons
Westover offers ten competitive sports across three seasons, with a focus on developing the unique potential of each student-athlete. We are committed to fostering confidence, leadership, a positive self-image, and a lifelong love of physical activity.
In addition to competitive sports, we provide non-competitive fitness activities, including Life Fitness—a program designed to enhance skills and overall fitness through accessible, inclusive physical activities open to all students.

Connecticut Independent School Athletic Conference (CISAC)
comprised of Christian Heritage, Hamden Hall, MacDuffie, Watkinson, and Williams. The sports played in CISAC include: cross country and swimming. -
Housatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL)
comprised of Christian Heritage, Forman, Harvey, King, Masters, CT, Watkinson, Williams, and Wooster. The sports played in the HVAL include: basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. -
New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC)
This organization is comprised of nearly 200 independent schools covering parts of seven different states throughout New England. Westover is a member of District IV and competes in the following sports: basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, squash, swimming, tennis, and volleyball.
