Westover Battles Hard at Home

The visitors from the Williams School were victorious this past Wednesday taking home a six-point victory.  Westover played their best game of the season to date.  In a game where no quarter was decided by more than three points, the Wildcats hung tough.  After Williams won the first quarter 8-7, Westover answered everything the Blues threw at them and went into the half trailing by just one point 16-15.  It was more of the same in the third quarter, as Williams tried to stretch the lead but only found themselves leading 26-23 at the end of the third.  Down the stretch the Blues simply made more plays than the Wildcats and were able to finish the scoring with an 8-5 quarter leading to their six point win.  The Wildcats continue to improve and will head into Saturday's non conference matchup with Central Christian Academy feeling confident.
