Embarking on the journey through Westover is a transformative experience, one that I have had the privilege to witness not once, but twice, through the eyes of my daughters. As a parent, I've seen firsthand how Westover's ethos of “come as you are” paves the way for young minds to flourish without bounds, fostering an environment where freeing oneself to chase dreams is not just encouraged but celebrated.

Financial Aid

Westover is committed to enrolling a talented and diverse student body representing a broad range of backgrounds- racial, ethnic, geographic, and socioeconomic. The Westover School Financial Aid assessment process ensures that available funds are best supporting the school’s objectives and mission. Westover is proud to offer need-based financial aid to those students with a demonstrated financial need. This past year, 45% of our families received need-based aid with over $4.5 million dollars awarded.

  • Financial Aid Process

The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is January 15, 2025 for PROSPECTIVE new families.

Westover School is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. The application is completed and submitted once the $60 fee has been paid.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752.
  • Financial Aid Determination

Once a family submits a financial application, the Westover School Financial Aid Committee will receive a Financial Assessment from Clarity. This report, along with a family’s tax returns and other pertinent documents, are utilized to calculate a financial aid award.

In determining a financial aid award the Financial Aid Committee will look at each application on an individual and case-by-case basis taking into account extenuating circumstances.
