  • Step 2: Schedule a Visit & Interview

    We would love to host you on campus and learn more about you! A campus tour is the perfect way to experience all that Westover has to offer and an interview is one of the most exciting and essential parts of the admission process.

  • Step 3: Submit Your Application

    Our priority deadline for the 2025-2026 school year is January 15, 2025. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, as space permits after January 2025. Westover School uses the Standard Application Online and standardized testing is optional. If an applicant chooses not to submit standardized test scores, Westover’s Office of Admission requires a graded academic writing sample.

Important Dates to Know

  • January 15, 2025

    Deadline for Fall 2025 applications. Applications submitted after this date will be considered on a rolling basis.
  • January 15, 2025

    Deadline for completing the financial aid application
  • March 10, 2025

    Candidates who applied by January 15 will receive their admission decision.
  • April 10, 2025

    Accepted candidates must accept or decline Westover’s offer of enrollment.

  • Here's what is needed to apply with the Standard Application Online (SAO)

    • Applicant information
    • Application fee ($65 for domestic applicants; $100 for international applicants)
    • Student essays
    • Parent Questionnaire
    • Current and prior year transcripts
    • Recommendations (standardized forms sent via SAO directly to the teacher, principal or guidance counselor) from:
    • Current English teacher
    • Current Math teacher
    • Current principal or guidance counselor OR another adult who knows you well
    • Standardized tests OR graded writing samples.
    • English proficiency test is required for international applicants. We accept TOEFL and Duolingo scores.
    • Please note that standardized testing is optional. If you choose not to submit standardized test scores, we require a graded academic writing sample.
