Global Programs

Our Global program consists of supporting International and Exchange Students at Westover, and the global exchange programs at the School.

Global Exchange Program

Westover offers three distinct exchange program experiences, each designed to provide students with unique opportunities for personal and academic growth.

List of 3 items.

  • Academic Exchange

In this program, students immerse themselves in the academic environment of their host school, attending classes and engaging in school life for the majority of their stay. Participants also have the chance to explore nearby cultural landmarks and, if applicable, continue their language studies in a dynamic, real-world setting.
  • Language Exchange

Students live in a community where they can fully immerse themselves in the language they are studying. This program offers a rich opportunity to practice language skills in everyday interactions, deepening their understanding of both the language and the culture.
  • Cultural Exchange

This program emphasizes experiential learning through travel, sightseeing, and community engagement. Students may also participate in service learning activities, gaining firsthand experience while contributing to their host community.

Gaining a Deeper Understanding of Other Countries & Sharing Experiences

Through Westover’s exchange programs, students not only gain a deeper understanding of a new country, culture, and academic system, but in return, they also share their own culture, experiences, and perspectives with their exchange partners. This reciprocal exchange fosters meaningful relationships and provides students with a truly transformative high school experience.

Westover currently offers global exchanges to the following schools:
