Central Christian Spoils First Home Saturday Game of the New Year

The visitors from Central Christian Academy had won 13 of their first 14 games of their season coming into Saturday.  The momentum did not stop unfortunately for the Wildcats.  Central set the tone early and led 16-3 at the end of the first quarter.  From there, their defensive pressure and offensive execution was too much on this day for Westover.  Central placed three scorers in douible figures and scored at least 10 points in all but one quarter.  There were some good moments for the Wildcats on Saturday.  They were able to limit second chance points for Central only giving up 4 of those, and they forced Central into 22 turnovers.
Next week, Westover will head on the road for two crucial HVAL games as the end of January fast approaches.
