Westover Travels to the Forman School for a key HVAL Matchup

With the end of the regular season looming, the Wildcats headed to Litchfield to take on the Forman School on Wednesday.  At the start, the contest looked like a mirror image of the first one as Forman jumped out ahead early to a 14-2 lead.  It would balloon to 17-2 before Westover would finally settle in and change the narrative.  Unlike the first meeting, the Wildcats stormed back into it, closing the quarter with a 9-4 run to trail by just 12 at the half (23-11).  The run continued into the third quarter.  The Wildcats set the tone defensively and frustrated Forman into costly turnovers.  The lead was cut to eight at 23-15.  Then Forman responded with a 14-2 run to stretch the lead back out to 17 at 37-20.  While Westover wouldn't let Forman run away in the fourth, Forman did enough to maintain its cushion and grab the 51-30 victory.
