Wildcats Battle Christian Heritage at Home Before Christmas

The Wildcats returned to action Monday afternoon hosting Christian Heritage.  The fans were treated to an exciting contest as Westover came out strong early.  The visitors had a response and led by just one at 13-12 to end the frame.  The second quarter played out just the same as both teams took turns with the lead and chasing each other down.  Westover put together another strong quarter, outscoring Christian Heritage 10-9 ending the first half in a 22-22 tie.  The third quarter saw Christian Heritage try to build some space, but the Wildcats finished the quarter with an answer and trailed by just 4 heading into the final frame.  Christian Heritage played their best quarter in the fourth finishing the game on a 7-2 run to capture the 39-30 victory.
