Westover vs Forman

Coach Sandi
We had the pleasure of playing at Forman School in difficult weather conditions that included passing rain showers and high winds for most of the match.  Unfortunately, we didn't prevail, losing 3 - 4 despite the great effort by the varsity team and 2 players from JV, Patricia and Cassie, who bravely moved up to Varsity for the match to fill out the roster. Shout out to Sally who played at Singles 2, overcoming a strong opponent 8 - 6 and to the D1 team of Lilly and Kitty who didn't let up for a moment winning 8 - 1 and for the D3 team of Aileen and Yolanda for hanging in there through some distractions after jumping off to a quick lead, prevailing at 8 - 4.

We have a rematch against Forman at home planned for Saturday May 4th and look forward to swinging the next match our way!  Our record overall is 3 - 2 in the NEPSAC and 2 - 1 in HVALs.  The team continues to improve, working hard on their skills and learning how to work the tennis court.  Fans are welcome and we appreciate the support!
